The 18 x 9.0" rear rim size is perfect for the choice of a 260mm Metzeler rear tire. Tire sizes of 240mm and 250mm are not recommended for a rim width of 9.0".
Just be sure that the swingarm modification that you plan to use can support the tire that is later intended.
(FYI - our Warrior 260mm swingarm modification would be needed in order to support the extra width of this particular rim size).
